Pumping Day

Ella loves to do anything like mommy. So she puts my lotion on her legs after I shave, copies me with makeup and has often "pumped." This was the first time she actually got to my little pump though and instead of taking it away I decided to sit down with the video. She really makes me laugh. Check out where she pumps - her belly button! And yes, that is my archaic (free) manual pump.

Charlotte Meets Oatmeal

So the day before she turned six months it was finally time for Charlotte to try FOOD. As this video shows, she clearly thinks it is wonderful. Charlotte continues to be an absolute joy - happy, playful, smiling at all hours (no, I really mean ALL hours). We love you so much little Charlotte Bear!

And Then Ella Got Sick...

So we are a little behind on posts. I have other photos somewhere that I may get up at sometime but we have been a bit out of sorts as Ella has been sick for a bit. And I mean SICK!! After 2 ER visits and 3 doctor's visits we had an official diagnosis of pneumonia and the antibiotics just weren't doing the job, so into the hospital we went. Mom saved the day and flew out to stay with Charlotte and Ella was in the hospital for 6 nights. She was such a trooper, getting blood drawn several times a day, having breathing treatments, being woken all night for vitals and more breathing treatments. She was wonderful, we were so proud of her.

And Charlotte flourished with her Grandma, the two had 6 days and nights together. They did so well, and Charlotte was content as could be.

All in all, we are VERY happy to be home, and so happy to have our two healthy girls.
