Papa and Joyce Visit

A few weeks ago we had some very welcomed visitors...Papa (Grandpa to some, Papa to Charlotte!) and Joyce came to visit. As always, a trip to Disneyland was in order. Who can visit us and not go?

Although we have been to Disneyland quite a few times, each visit is a little different depending on who you are there with and this was no exception.

So, here is a list of NEW Disneyland discoveries made:

1) There is a place on Main Street where you can get your coffee refilled for FREE! Thank you Joyce! Great find (and definitely useful on a Disney day!)



2) When on the Jungle Safari ride if something scares you - growl back! Or just pull as far away from the offensive animatronic as possible.




3) Charlotte is always comfortable cuddled into Papa.


4) Ella seems to have perfected the Disney Princess look.


5) Charlotte has not but is darn cute.


6) The Winnie the Pooh ride is designed for toddlers - yet still manages to strike some fear into them. What is with Disney???


7) Most important, NEVER LET A FOUR YEAR OLD DRIVE YOUR CAR!!!!



And, as we knew before, Disneyland makes everyone smile!

OK, so I thought no one ever checked this. I mean, we don't really do anything too interesting and then I just got out of the habit. But recently I learned that a few people I really like actually check in here every once in awhile so I guess it would be better if there was something new UP here everyone once in awhile!

Recently we were lucky enough to go up to a friend's cabin for a night with a few friends from school. It was so much fun, a really great treat, and with it came a few firsts. Ella and 2 of her friends from school got to share a room (her first sleepover, even if I was just a few doors down!) which meant it took about 2 hours to fall asleep. Also, our first experience sledding in California. Who knew you could do that? And it comes with a view and no frostbite!
