Visitors and a Pool

Ella's Nana came to visit for a weekend and Ella was so happy ton see her. She walked around the house asking for Nana? the whole weekend! Here is a photo of them together. Note the adorable outfit, JD got it for Ella and she loves it because she thinks it is like Cinderella (who knows why!). And I like the pigtails!!

Also big news, we got a great backyard pool for the summer. We blew it up the other day and the girls thought they were in heaven. It was SO HARD to get them out. With a water slide (about a foot long!) and balls and rings and a flower that sprinkles water, it is all a kid needs for these 90 degree days.

What month is this?

I was just about to write May and realized we are a third of the way into June. Oops. Here are a few recent photos of Ella and company. She is 19 months now and is always busy busy busy.


She loves taking baths with her friend Lil, and is much easier to bathe with her friend! As always, she is a bit mercurial - one day she will take a 20 minute bath and the next I can't get her to even sit in the tub, it is a bth on the go. But every day, no matter what, she desperately needs a bath - wow, is she a messy toddler!!

She loves the sandbox. She plays in it well until she tries to eat the sand, then the sandbox is closed for a while.

Ella and Lil went to their first show - Sesame Street Live. I don't know if Ella has even been so happy. She danced through the entire show and at the end of each song looked back at us and both signed and said "More? More?"

First video, hope this works!

OK, all aspects seem to ahve finally come together and we took a video on our new camera and managed to upload it to the computer (our last one never seemed to work!). Hopefully this will work. It is a tester video, just Ella having her very messy breakfast and talking about the things she currently really likes.
