Oops, forgot to mention...

Looking back through the blog I realized I forgot to mention that we will have a new addition to our family at he end of December. We will know if it is a boy or a girl on August 16th and will let you all know.

Until then it may be a bit quiet on the blog front as we are going to be in MN for a visit, but will try to post an update.

Farm Days and more

In the past month Ella has had quite a busy calendar. Aunt Kait was in town, and Ella was THRILLED to see her every morning. She is really figuring out who people are. She knew that Kait and Gradndma had different names and though Grandma was a bit hard to say she managed to say something close to it. Kait was nice and easy for her. Then Laura came to visit and Ella was happy to have someone new in the house again. Guess she gets tired of just mom and dad.

Ella baked her first cake. Is it odd that she really liked the baking powder? That doesn't even taste good! And once she had the cake batter she was in heaven!! The sign of a good baker - a messy face.

Ella's Fairy Godmother Laura brings the best clothes ever. Ella loves her new outfit (and mommy loves the pigtals). Happy Fourth of July!

We went to a nearby farm with Lil and Jerff and Steph two weeks ago and the girls loved running around and feeding the animals, though Ella drew the line at actually getting on the horse. I was happy with that decision. They even drove a little wooden choo choo train! Then Ella and JD and headed to Las Vegas where Ella's new favorite word became pool. She was in heaven and is such a good little traveler, we are very lucky.

Avery Mae Rapoport

Karen is one of my closest friends (and former roommate) and we are so excited to meet Avery. She is simply beautiful.

More visits!

Grandma and Aunt Kait just came for a nice visit and Ella loved having them here! In fact, she still walks through the house looking for them.

Happy swimmer. Ella is an outdoor girl and her favorite thing is the POOL. Any pool. She is happy in it.

And after swimming - here is a sweet sleeping girl. Surrounded by her pacis, loveys and her very beloved blankie (which Ella has named, who knows why, Fifi).

Ella has discovered the world of dress up! She is such a girl!! She loves getting dressed up especially as Cinderella, and loves the jewelry. The other day she wanted her toes painted like mommy. She is such a fun little partner.

Reading with Grandma.

And a flashback to March of 2006, same people, same book...
