Halloween 2009

Ella decided in June she wanted to be a pink ballerina starfish. Well, really she decided on a pink starfish and then the ballerina part was added sometime around September. Several times a new idea came up (Super girl like Lillian, a s'more...but always back to the pink starfish). Since they don't really make those (guess not as popular as tinkerbell!) we were lucky that Grandpa and Joyce thought they could make it. And a butterfly ensemble for Charlotte.

Halloween came and Charlotte refused to wear her costume, then she realized she could only hold her beloved "po-po" (pumpkin) if she wore it. On so fast and once it was on she never wanted it off. Ella has been wearing her ballerina leotard and tut for a few days now (she was worried she would get the rest too dirty so did not wear the starfish overlay until trick or treating... ).

We went to a friend's house for a pre-tick or treating party (so wonderful) and then off we went to the most decorated neighborhood in the universe...Ella loved the treats but said next time let's go somewhere not so scary. However, she did not seem to suffer. Charlotte only came out of the stroller at the non-scary houses. Here are a few photos of the cutest costumes.

And about the lack of posting in months - I will try to be better....but my camera is broken!! I know, no excuse...
