Valentine's Day Party

At Ella's Valentine's party at school they made little valentine's and gave one to each child in class and sang songs to the parents and (decked out all in red and pink of course) ate delicious pizza, fruit, and little white chocolate cheerio cakes. It was quite a party! Here is Ella with 2 of her friends (since birth, yikes!) Lillian and Tallulah. Ms. Cook is in the foreground.

Ella tells me that I can not sing the paci song to Charlotte (as she does not have a paci), it is just for Ella. That song is “You are my Sunshine.” The line says “you’ll never know dear how much I love you, more and more with each passing “paci” day.

Hope everyone else had wonderful Valentine's days and have a great "paci" day as well.

Dressing Up

One of Ella's favorite past times is dressing up. On her own is nice, with Lillian is even better, and her new favorite is to costume her sister and make her dance. It sounds like it could be an early form of torture, but Charlotte adores it. She is still not quite walking (will take a few steps a day but is not very determined about it yet) but she holds Ella's hand and Ella tries to spin her. They both collapse in a giggling heap.

Ella models her very favorite dress up clothes (thank you Joyce!!)

Happy Birthday Nana!

Here is a photo of Ella and Nana celebrating Nana's birthday. Ella made the cake and it was chocolate cake and chocolate frosting at Nana's request. Delicious! We were so happy to have Nana here to celebrate her special day with us.
