It's Raining, It's Pouring...

Well, it is wet here. Very very wet. I know all you people living elsewhere deal with the elements on a daily basis but we don't. And LA is not equipped for this kind of rain, so if you drive anywhere you are driving through lakes! Roads are closed due to flooding, and it is cold. We love it! We are staing nice and cozy inside with Grandpa and G2 who are here fixing things in our house, playing cribbage, tickling Ella (per Ella's numerous requests) and enjoying the girls.

Grandma was here last weekend and it was wonderful having here. She let me get lots of sleep! We love having everyone come and visit. Everyone is welcome! Though you may want to wait a week to miss this rain.

Charlotte is on month, and now weighs 9 pounds, 3 ounces. She is doing a great job eating and sleeping and we love it. She is getting big and heavy.

Ella's newest trick is making up songs, she walks around the house singing all day, and sings to her babies, and sings to Charlottoe when she cries. Of the traditional (non-Ella created) songs, Twinkle Twinkle is one of her favorites. At her school we sing it a lot, so at home she finds any miscellaneous object and waves it in the air as her star, serenading us. We love it.

Keep dry....

Ella has adjusted wonderfully to having a baby in the house. She continues to be a funny, sweet girl. She makes us laugh all the time. And she really really loves Charlotte. When I asked her how much mommy loves her the other day Ella's response was - "too much!" Then she changed it to "a little bit."

A photographer friend came by and took a few photos of Charlotte, so here are a couple that did not make it onto the birth announcement.

I love the tiny feet!

All our visitors at once...Grandma, Kait, Erik, Deirdre, Ella, Charlotte, JD, Spook/Soup, Nana. We had a wonderfully full house for the holidays!!

The girls - Ella LOVES her babyy sister and wants to hold her all the time. You couldn't ask for a better big sister than Ella.
