Ella thinks ONE is FUN!

Ella's first birthday was very exciting on many fronts. When she woke up she had two fun new toys to explore, so she enjoyed climbing (her favorite thing) and playing with her new little house. We made it a day of Ella's favorites. So after playing with toys she watched a little Elmo, and ate only her favorite foods for the whole day!



Then, the whole country decided to really celebrate Ella's birthday! Thanks, USA!



We headed off to the beach and let Ella play in the sand, and even eat sand. Yummy! She loved her morning at the beach, and a few dolhins even came by to pay us a visit. It was amazing!



Finally, we went to the park, and some of Ella's friends came and played with us, then went and had dinner with Steph and Lillian. How old is Ella?




Finally, it was cupcake time. Ella was transfixed by the pretty light. But didn't seem to think as highly of the cupcake. She didn't want to eat any! Oddly enough she prefers avocados, yams, cheese, pears and bananas, even sand, to cupcakes. We're getting her tested.



Happy birtrhday, Ella!
