Farm Days and more
In the past month Ella has had quite a busy calendar. Aunt Kait was in town, and Ella was THRILLED to see her every morning. She is really figuring out who people are. She knew that Kait and Gradndma had different names and though Grandma was a bit hard to say she managed to say something close to it. Kait was nice and easy for her. Then Laura came to visit and Ella was happy to have someone new in the house again. Guess she gets tired of just mom and dad.

Ella baked her first cake. Is it odd that she really liked the baking powder? That doesn't even taste good! And once she had the cake batter she was in heaven!! The sign of a good baker - a messy face.
Ella's Fairy Godmother Laura brings the best clothes ever. Ella loves her new outfit (and mommy loves the pigtals). Happy Fourth of July!
We went to a nearby farm with Lil and Jerff and Steph two weeks ago and the girls loved running around and feeding the animals, though Ella drew the line at actually getting on the horse. I was happy with that decision. They even drove a little wooden choo choo train! Then Ella and JD and headed to Las Vegas where Ella's new favorite word became pool. She was in heaven and is such a good little traveler, we are very lucky.

Karen is one of my closest friends (and former roommate) and we are so excited to meet Avery. She is simply beautiful.
