And Then Ella Got Sick...

So we are a little behind on posts. I have other photos somewhere that I may get up at sometime but we have been a bit out of sorts as Ella has been sick for a bit. And I mean SICK!! After 2 ER visits and 3 doctor's visits we had an official diagnosis of pneumonia and the antibiotics just weren't doing the job, so into the hospital we went. Mom saved the day and flew out to stay with Charlotte and Ella was in the hospital for 6 nights. She was such a trooper, getting blood drawn several times a day, having breathing treatments, being woken all night for vitals and more breathing treatments. She was wonderful, we were so proud of her.

And Charlotte flourished with her Grandma, the two had 6 days and nights together. They did so well, and Charlotte was content as could be.

All in all, we are VERY happy to be home, and so happy to have our two healthy girls.

Bright blue eyes (and looking like her big sister)

Happy girl!

Home again!

Oh poor Ella - and how scary for Mom and Dad! Glad to hear everyone is home safe and sound. I'm sending relaxing healing vibes your way.

I was so sorry to see that Ella was so ill that she had
to spend time in the hospital. That is a lot for such a
little girl. What a blessing that your mom was able to
come out immediately. I spoke to her to find that even
though the circumstances were not the happiest, that she
was thrilled to care for Charlotte and thankful to be there.
I saw JD twice during the Oprah show a couple of weeks
ago. …Can’t remember the company, but he said that he,
“….had roast beef”. I also saw him again two nights ago
as the pizza guy on “Two and ½ Men”.
Blessings to all,
Deb Ruehl

I'm so sorry for little Ella. But, I'm glad that the hospital had a beautiful pastel vanity for her. You can get a terrible case of bed-head in those nasty hospital rooms!
